Tasting Notes:
“Bella Vigna” translates in Italian to Beautiful Vines, not only because of their location but also for the wine they produce. Martinelli Bella Vigna Pinot Noir is curated from all of our estate vineyards in the Sonoma Coast appellation. We have created an approachable appellation blend that reflects the characteristics of our family’s vineyards and is still true to our Martinelli style. It has a nose of dried cherry, licorice, and blueberry. On the palate, ripe flavors of mouth-coating strawberry and dried cherry.
Bella Vigna’s pinot is awesome, and I’ll be drinking this pinot for a long time. I just need to make sure that I have enough of this noir in my stock. If the stock goes out, I don’t think I can buy more of this wine.
