Montagu Wines’ Pinot Noir is from the historic Bacigalupi Vineyard on Westside Road in the heart of the Russian River Valley. The 2018 Pinot Noir is rich and forward. It has an expressive nose and generous palate of classic dark red fruits, cherry pie, and a touch of cola. The silky texture from the polished tannins leads to an expansive mid-palate and a lingering bright finish. 100% French oak, 40% new. 140 Cases Produced

Montagu Wines’ Pinot Noir is a single vineyard selection grown in the celebrated Bacigalupi Vineyard of famed Russian River Valley. This Pinot is aged in French oak barrels and shows a classic Russian River profile of juicy dark red fruit, bing cherry, raspberry and cola with earthy undertones of pine straw and spice. It’s balanced by a bright, refreshing acidity.

Dedicated to minimal intervention in the winery, Montagu allows each wine to naturally express its authentic and full potential.

Montagu Wines was founded by Weston Eidson in 2012 and from the beginning has been focused on extremely limited production. Learning from mentors Jason Moore and Russell Bevan, Weston is committed to producing wines that are richly layered, complex and balanced.
