The Martinelli family are part of the historical fiber of the Russian River Valley. They have been growing grapes in Sonoma since 1887, planting their first Pinot Noir in 1970. Martinelli wines are born in the vineyard. And, with 450 acres of 100% sustainably-farmed estate vineyards, they can afford to be selective. Their small-production vineyard designated wines showcase the family’s favorite blocks, capturing the terroir of each site while highlighting the nuance of the vintage. This wine duo showcases Martinelli’s Bella Vigna Sonoma Coast wines—a delicately creamy and refreshing Chardonnay and a delicious, ripe, red fruit concentrated Pinot Noir.

Martinelli Chardonnay ‘Bella Vigna’ Sonoma Coast
WSI93+ The 2017 Bella Vigna Chardonnay has a lively and expressive nose with aromas of lemon blossom, pear, and a hint of cinnamon. The juicy entry seamlessly leads into the well-focused palate with flavors of golden apple and lemon custard. The lengthy finish has hints of barrel spice, citrus zest, and clean stone. This wine is a blend of selected single vineyard Chardonnay estate grapes, with a large portion coming from our Dijon clones 76 and 17.
Martinelli Pinot Noir ‘Bella Vigna’ Sonoma Coast
The Bella Vigna Pinot Noir is curated from all of the estate vineyards in the Sonoma Coast appellation, they have created an approachable appellation blend that reflects the characteristics of the family’s vineyards and is still true to the Martinelli style. 2018 Bella Vigna Pinot Noir has inviting aromas of blueberry, black cherry and sweet oak that lift the nose. Deep flavors of boysenberry and clove last into the long and balanced finish.
