2018 Lewis Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon ‘Mason’s Vineyard Napa Valley

JD95 More cassis and blue fruits emerge from the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Mason’s, a more focused, backward wine offering full-bodied richness, a solid spine of acidity, ripe tannins, and a great finish. With lots of camphor, graphite, and toasted spice-like aromatics.

Estate Notes: Sporting some Senior-year swagger, our 2018 Mason’s Cabernet is front-loaded with black plum, cherry, chocolate and cedary spice.  Sourced from several of the same vineyards as our Napa Cabernet this wine is boldly fruited yet youthful with tons of juicy character and a deliciously fresh finish.
