2013 Kitchak Cellars Red Blend Napa Valley

WSI94 Adagio – a slow and graceful tempo. Made from grapes from our Lake Cynthia Vineyard on the Silverado Bench. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with extended maceration, it was aged for 21 months in oak barrels that were 65% new and predominantly French. From one of the cooler years in recent Napa Valley history, this is an elegant, beautiful  and subtle wine. Approachable now, this wine will age gracefully for more than two decades. 55% Merlot, 19% Cabernet, 19% Cab Franc, 6% Petit Verdot
