2018 Beaux Frères Pinot Noir ‘Belles Soeurs’ Vineyard Ribbon Ridge Willamette Valley

JS96 This deliberately, elegantly tuned blend of three parcels (Beaux Frères, Upper Terrace and Sequitur vineyards) delivers a redder-cherry focus of fruit on the nose with roses and some gently fragrant notes of leaves and sour cherries. There’s a lighter feel to the palate, yet it has great volume of red fruit and vibrant freshness. The tannins glide in silky, caressing and balanced mode. Drink or hold.
Estate Notes: The Belles Sœurs is a hand-selected barrel reserve from our three estate vineyards. This thoughtfully crafted wine showcases the elegance and finesse of each of our sites. In a reprise performance, this radiant gem displays the cherished essence of our family farmed sites. Impressions of pomegranate, pie cherry, tropical flowers and sage play stealthily amid electric acidity and spring-loaded tannins.

VINIFICATION: Primary fermentation in small vats for 18 to 20 days, with a small percentage of the fruit being fermented using whole clusters. MATURING: 11 months in French oak barrels, 35% new.
AGING POTENTIAL: 10+ years. ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.6%
