It’s beautifully balanced, has good acidity, and is just a gorgeous Zinfandel that does everything right. It should keep for 7-8 years easily.
Estate Notes: This is our first vintage from our new Rockpile partners at the Gloeckner-Turner ranch. And we couldn’t be more thrilled. From the first drops, the intensity of hue is hypnotic. Then, dark black and blue fruits, heady exotic spice, and cigar box waft from the glass. This zin is hedonistic and plush, with a backbone of solid acid that keeps her lively and food friendly. This zin is rich and comforting, like cashmere pajamas (is that a thing?).
