2016 Tantara Pinot Noir “Zotovich” Santa Rita Hills

WE93 Framboise, sweet dill, moss and dewy herbs show on the nose of this bottling from the Sta. Rita Hills. A grippy texture grabs hold of the palate right away and won’t let go, allowing pungent and underripe strawberry, cinnamon and all spice flavors to grab the attention.
VIN92 Succulent red cherry and plum fruit give the 2016 Pinot Noir Zotovich much of its immediacy and up-front appeal. Soft and enveloping, the 2016 offers plenty of succulent fruit to match its racy personality. This is a pretty bold style for Zotovich, where the wines tend to be a bit more lifted.
