Delicate and pure red fruit aromas, with an earthy a mineral depth. Phenomenal dolcetto.
The Dolcetto grapes are sourced from Monrobiolo di Bussola (0.56ha) and Rué (0.2ha), both in the commune of Barolo. Grapes are picked by hand and cleaned of damaged fruit in the vineyard. Both sources are fermented together in a single concrete vat for 8-12 days before transfer to untoasted, neutral Slavonian oak botti (2,500 – 5,000L). Wine is aged for 8-9 months in botti. 500 cases produced.
