WSI95 The Estate Vineyard nestles in the volcanic soils of Napa Valley’s Coombsville AVA. Planted in 1991, these Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines produce wines of extraordinary complexity and freshness.
Bydand’s 2019 Estate Red Wine reflects the best of our Coombsville terroir: ripe fruit, opulent textures, and irresistible aromatics. An inviting nose of mixed berries, dried thyme and baking spice opens into a full spectrum of round blue, purple and black fruit. Complex layers of graphite and stone emerge on the mid-palate, where polished tannins create a smooth and satisfying texture. The finish lingers with notes of milk chocolate, caramel and dried blueberries. 45% Merlot – 40% Cabernet Sauvignon – 15% Cabernet Franc, Coombsville AVA. From the Bydand Estate vineyard.
