2018 Behrens Family ‘Spare Me!’ Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

WA93 The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Spare Me is blended of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 12% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it sashays out of the glass with pretty scents of baked blackberries, black currant pastilles and stewed plums plus wafts of forest floor, tobacco leaf and cracked black pepper. The full-bodied palate is coated with ripe black fruits and a grainy texture, finishing with lovely freshness and a spicy kick.
