2022 Domaine Etienne Delarche Pernand Vergelesses Premier Cru Creux De La Net Blanc

A new vineyard for the family, Creux sits high up on the slope at the forest line, not far from premier cru Ile de Vergelesses. Here stony soils and cool winds deliver a white Burgundy of finesse and energy, richly citrus-lined and very savory. Aromas of citrus zest, fresh herbs, crushed stones, lemon curd. Juicy and fresh; silky texture.
Soils are “terres blanches,” primarily limestone marl. Hand-harvested. Fermented on indigenous yeasts in barrel (10% new); aged for one year.
Unfined and unfiltered.
