2005 Altvs Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

WS92 Practically considered the second wine for Merus, the 2005 Altvs holds it’s own for greatness without the cellaring needs of it’s elder sibling but with early approachability. This is bold, plush, ripe and concentrated, with potent currant, blackberry, black cherry and wild berry flavors that show a touch of heat. Ends with firm, minerally tannins. Best from 2009 through 2016.
