2007 Parador Cellars Gran Reserva Red Blend Napa Valley

WSI 95+ Gran Reserva is an assemblage of the very best barrels of a great vintage. It is aged 3 years in 2 new Sylvain puncheon barrels, and then aged in bottle for an additional 7 years. In 2007, this lot (Lot 1) was entirely aged in large 400 Liter Sylvain puncheon barrels and the wine is markedly different from Lot 1: more astringent and fruity, its core structure more tightly wound and with a very intense and long finish.
