2012 Liba Pinot Noir ‘Haynes Vineyard’ Coombsville

WSI93 Liba is Krio for courage. Liba is a red fruit-dominant wine that is balanced with full flavor, without being overpowering. A potpourri of fresh raspberry, strawberry, cranberry layered with perfumed notes of violets, beet root, truffle and hints of cardamom define the nose. In the juicy mouth, a pomegranate attack leads to a wave of red currant, raspberry, cherry with hints of fresh cocoa, molasses and citrus. The long refreshing finish lingers with notes of cranberry and white chocolate. Only 98 cases produced.
