2013 Small Vines ‘Estate Cuvée Pinot Noir

Bright ruby-red. Suave, incisive strawberry, dried cherry and floral scents are brightened by brisk minerality. Lithe but potent red berry flavors are crisp and impressively focused. Lithe, precise pinot, finishing with alluring sweetness and very good persistence.
WE 91 Feral and smoky, this light-bodied, light-colored estate-farmed wine gives way to dark cherry, white pepper and pronounced floral elements of rose and violet. Given time in 35% new French oak, it’s structured and intriguing, with a tannic punch on the finish.
