Established in AĂż, in the heart of the Champagne region, Maison Collet uses primarily Premier and Grand Crus in its wines in order to reflect the diversity of the Champagne terroirs.
The hand-made prestige cuvée of Maison Collet is a sparkling interpretation of Haute Couture.
Esprit Couture is a celebration of tradition, crafted entirely by hand from start to finish and composed of only the finest crus. This elegant champagne is based on wine-making traditions and techniques handed down through generations. This champagne epitomizes the philosophy and style of the wine-producers, an association of connoisseurs’ and craftsmen.
Esprit Couture is aged for a minimum of five years at ideal conditions in one hundred-year-old chalk cellars. The wines are intentionally aged longer than the officially required period so as to provide customers with champagne that is at its optimum.
On the eye: A deep yellow gold, with copper highlights. An elegant effervescence.
On the nose: A delicate and refined first impression of candied citrus. Mara des bois strawberries, wild strawberries. Pastry notes of coconut macaroons, meringue. Notes of smoke and licorice, which add their touch of warmth to this very fine nose.
On the palate: Beautiful finesse and elegance. A highly mineral tension in the mouth. Stewed red fruit accompanying a lemon tart. An ample and tense wine, very well balanced.
