AG 91: Even better in bottle than it was from barrel, the 2014 Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard is bold, powerful and exuberant. There is no shortage of fruit intensity in the glass. A rush of red stone fruit, blood orange and pomegranate makes a strong first impression. In 2014 the Platt is gorgeous. Sadly, this is David Ramey’s last vintage of the Platt.
WSI 93: From the Sonoma Coast, the 2014 Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard offers crisp acidity, elegant black cherry and berry fruit notes, damp earth, baking spices, and subtle background oak. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
