Black cherry pie. Really shows the vineyard’s brambly graphite terroir.
Located midway up Soda Canyon on a steep, southeast-facing amphitheater bowl. – This site has always been the backbone of the Parador Blend.
Very low-yielding, small berry fruit with tough skins. Meticulously farmed for maximum quality, not quantity from 35+ year-old vines. (95 cases produced)
Influenced by Pesquera and Vega Sicilia’s Unico, the great Tempranillos of Spain and blends of Europe, Parador was founded by Steve Ventrello in 1998, and is focused on Tempranillo (sourced directly from the Ribera del Duero and Rioja), Cabernet Sauvignon and blends of both. Parador wines have evolved from the early blends which included Sangiovese, striving for the balanced flavors of the old world utilizing world-class fruit grown in the Napa Valley.
