The 2015 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the Samual Brannon vineyard in Calistoga, that spent 28 months in new French oak. Hats off to winemaker Cameron Woodbridge for this brilliant wine.WA96 The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet) was aged for 30 months in 100% new French oak and an additional six months in bottle. Medium garnet-purple colored, it gives perfumed red and black currants, cherry cordial and earth with cigar box notions. Full, rich and very spicy in mouth, it’s wonderfully plush with seamless freshness, finishing long and earthy. 321 cases produced.

Estate Notes: The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is ruby/garnet colored, not as inky as previous years but fully delivers with aromas of blackberries, cherries and tobacco. The palate is blackberries, cherry jam, and cassis with hints of cedar, lavender and cinnamon bark that carries through a long spicy finish.
