2016 Terrace View Vineyards Gewurztraminer ‘Harrier Ridge’ Hawkes Bay NZ

WSI93 Harrier Ridge Gewürztraminer is produced in order to show the natural characters of the grape, however some lees contact has been used to add creaminess, weight and depth to the palate. Bright straw with green and gold tones. Classic rose petal, and rich Turkish delight. Lush spicy characters overlay a rich, guava and Turkish delight background. The wine is off dry and will contribute with fine cuisine styles including pungent Pacific Rim cuisine. The wine was cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to emphasise its fruit characters. The wine was then given extended lees contact to increase complexity.
