WA93 Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Weitz Vineyard features stewed plums, blueberry preserves, baked blackcurrants and raspberry preserves with touches of cedar chest, pencil lead, forest floor and smoked meats. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a firm chewy texture and taut, muscular fruit, finishing savory.
Estate Notes: From high up on the eastern Oakville Bench and renown for its red volcanic soil, this translucent purple wine opens with signature scents of red and black berry fruits, cassis and crushed petals. Notably plush tannins and natural acidity give this wine both concentration and a multi-dimensional quality.
