2017 Furthermore ‘ALCHEMY’ Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

The 2017 ALCHEMY Russian River Valley is a celebratory cuvée that we blended from special barrel selections of our Sonoma County Russian River Valley vineyards. The goal is to represent this iconic 2017 vintage and the unique terroir of the Russian River Valley. With a little more oak treatment than we normally use, and with an eye towards solid structure and tannin balanced with acidity, this wine is intentionally crafted to age well and be enjoyable for a decade to come. As primarily makers of small production vineyard designate Pinot Noir, ALCHEMY is an exercise in blending together something that is more than the sum of its parts. As a result, we only make it from the best vintages and only when we can find the right blend where the magic happens.
