JS95 A succulent, juicy red with plum, citrus and floral character, as well as a hint of cured meat. It’s medium-bodied with soft, creamy tannins that melt into the wine. Juicy and lightly chewy finish. Delicious already, but better after 2022.
WE94 Aromas suggesting underbrush, wild red berries, cedar and Mediterranean scrub waft out of the glass. The polished, linear palate features juicy Marasca cherry, toasted hazelnut and star anise set against lithe tannins. Drink through 2027.

Southeast to Northeast; 4.7% slope; Soil is on relatively new, 200-yr-old lava flow that has turned into thick gravel, clay. Volcanic formation between 15,000 and 4,000 years. 100% Nerello Mascalese, fermented in stainless steel tanks; aged for 12 months in 25hl Slavonian oak barrels./
