JD91 Checking in as 54% Sangiovese, 28% Syrah, and the rest Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Red Wine has a lush, super sexy, full-bodied style that carries loads of red and black fruits, unsmoked tobacco, chocolate, and peppery notes in an undeniably delicious, pleasure-bent, balanced style. It’s beautifully done and well worth seeking out! It should keep for at least 3-5 years, although there is no need to delay gratification.
Pazzo (crazy in Italian) marries the best features of several varietals to create a unique and sophisticated blend of Sangiovese accompanied by some of the usual Napa Valley suspects. To help ensure each varietal is grown in optimum conditions, we source the grapes from various locations in the Valley. With great care and expertise, we combine these selected lots to create an unconventional but delectable wine. Winemaker: Kirk Venge
