JD91 A blend that’s mostly Sémillon (there’s 25% Muscadelle, 9% Colombard, and 1% Palomino), the 2018 The Derivative has a more savory, rich, honeyed style offering lots of minerality, medium to full body, good acidity, and a great finish. Showing more melon and lemon curd as well as some almond and nutty notes with air, it reminds me of a Crozes Hermitage Blanc. Drink it over the coming 4-6 years.
