2018 Lumen Pinot Gris Santa Barbara County

WE92 Seared apple, lemon-juice, sea-salt and warm cream aromas combine toasty and fresh elements on the nose of this bottling. The palate is brisk with grapefruit-peel, dried apple and beach-sand flavors, proving quite complex for this variety, and finishing with a beeswax touch.
Estate Notes: Sourced from one of our favorite Pinot Noir vineyards, this Pinot Gris offers aromas of canteloupe, white peach and honeysuckle. On the palate it offers fresh melon, butterscotch and peach flavors focused around a striking acidity and minerality. The finish is long and lingering.  115 cases produced.  Drink now through 2035.
