WSI94+ Deep dark honey-colored hues. The nose is intense: honey wax, lemon peel, orange oil, with hints of vanilla and floral notes. Luscious, hedonistic, intense on the palate. It’s rich, honeyed, nutty, saturated with caramel flavors and an explosion of bright minerality and savory notes on the finish. Intriguing.
The Vineyards: Robbie and Alan sit down to create the ultimate blend of chardonnay from Sophia’s Vineyard, the Charles Heintz Vineyard and the SMJ Vineyard (clone 809). 50 cases produced.
(Note for the Geeks! – The 2017 also was #12…why? The printer might have something to do with it…anyway, the 2018 vintage is also…#12 – UNIQUE!)
