2019 GRO Russian River Valley Nebbiolo

WSI93+ This new vineyard addition from the Russian River appellation is already getting quite the buzz for the wines produced from an unable-to-be-named vineyard. Flavors of ripe strawberry, raspberry, tangerine peel and clove. This is very varietally correct even though it is grown in a completely different environment. Taste more cherries, tar and roses, and of course, firm acid and tannins. 80 cases produced.

The Nebbiolo is a fun wine with a more wild streak, high tannins and very bright cherry flavor and orange blossom notes – an unusual and intriguing wine, less fruit power, more structure and vibrancy.
