JS95: Lovely aromas of white tea, crushed herbs and citrus. Medium-bodied. Tangy, with a hint of lime, but it transitions into more straw and fresh-mint character. Fresh overall. Nicely layered. Drink or hold.
Our Roserock Chardonnay brings together the estate’s three Chardonnay blocks, which are handpicked and sorted. Part of the wine aged in new (20%) and neutral French oak barrels from Burgundy. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, Véronique assembles the two portions into her final cuvée.
The project of the 4th generation of the Drouhin family. Purchased the estate in 2013. The first vintage was 2014. Véronique Drouhin is the winemaker here as well as in France. Her brother Philippe is responsible for viticulture.
