2020 Localism Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

WSI92 This Sauvignon Blanc entices with aromas of white Peach and Apricot with hints of honeysuckle nectar. The bright stone fruit flavors on the palate are balanced with notes of grapefruit and lime, and with a flinty minerality component, is reminiscent in style to a Sancerre. The 2020 vintage is composed of 100% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Musque clone. 20% Stainless steel, 80% neutral French oak. 10 months lees stirring.
We source our Sauvignon Blanc from Towne Vineyard in Calistoga where the fruit is farmed organically. The warm Calistoga AVA boasts the largest diurnal shift between daytime and nighttime temperatures. This allows for optimal ripeness in the fruit in addition to maintaining its natural acidity. Mostly volcanic soil provides adequate drainage and more concentration of flavor in the berries.
