2021 ADDAX Chardonnay Sonoma Coast

A complex medley of orchard fruit featuring McIntosh apple, bosc pear and quince jump out of the glass mixed with flinty mineral notes reminiscent of spring rain on mountain rocks. The palate echoes the orchard fruit with added notes of caramelized ginger, Meyer lemon and hawthorne flowers. Creamy flavors and texture that evoke a vanilla bean panna cotta with citrus zest. Extended time on the lees in French oak barrels rounds out the fruit flavors and adds to the silky, creamy texture. This is a chardonnay that works well with any occasion from sipping on its own to pairing with the finest haut cuisine.
