2021 Honig Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

JS93 Attractive dark-fruited character here offering ripe blackcurrants, dark cherries and dark spices with bark and walnut undertones. Full-bodied, polished and chalky with tight-grained tannins and succulent dark berries underneath. Long and mineral finish.
Estate Notes: Lovely red fruit characters of pomegranate, cassis and cherry are nuanced by riper tones of plum and chocolate. The wine is dense, with deep tannins enhanced by notes of fennel, vanilla and lovey notes of caramel and graphite originating from oak barrel aging. While drinkable now, this wine will cellar well through 2027 and perhaps longer. 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, 2% Merlot
