2022 Chevalier de Lascombes Bordeaux

WSI93+ JD93 The second wine of Château Lascombes, the 2022 Chevalier de Lascombes is beautifully textured and medium-bodied, offering bright cassis and darker, almost blue fruits, alongside spicy floral nuances. It has an elegant mouthfeel and a great finish. Aged in oak barrels, this should evolve well for 10-15 years.
VIN90 The 2022 Chevalier de Lascombes is a very pleasant second wine, one that is not trying to be too much. Ripe red cherry fruit, blood orange, spice, menthol and a touch of spice all build nicely in this gentle, open-knit Margaux. This is very good for what it is.
