Aromatic, precise and beautifully chiseled, the Sonoma Coast Chardonnay presages what’s to come in the vineyard-designates in this range. Citrus confit, marzipan, white flowers, chalk, mint and tangerine peel are all gorgeously woven together. This is pure class through and through. The Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a selection of barrels from the vineyard designates that don’t quite make it into those wines. It’s a high class wine all the way.
