WSI94 2023 Grenache Blanc is mineral-driven and refreshing. Made with organically grown grapes from Santa Barbara County, this crisp, clean wine sees absolutely no oak and the result is an effortlessly delicious white that pairs well with almost any food. What started as a farming collaboration between Justin Willet of Tyler Winery and Erik Mallea, guardian of Sanford Winery’s famed vineyard sites, has now blossomed into a winemaking journey to highlight Santa Barbara County’s potential with Rhône grape varieties.
100% Grenache Blanc from Coteaux de Clair, whole-cluster pressed to stainless tank for native fermentation, raised in tank for about 4 months prior to bottling. 385 cases produced. The vineyards are largely clustered around Los Olivos. All are farmed/managed by Erik Mallea. Rolling Vines (located on Refugio Road, equidistant from Santa Ynez and Solvang).
