Raptor Ridge began sourcing tempranillo grapes from Rogue Valley AVA’s Folin Vineyards in 2011. Folin Vineyard is situated at high elevation (about 2000 feet) where evening coolness helps “temper” against southern Oregon’s heat-filled days. These wines are typically bold, with rich and often spicy notes, full tannins, and dried cherry and plum fruit.
