JS96 Aromas of Italian croissant, cooked apple and tarte tatin. Medium-bodied with a roundness and freshness. Steely. Floats on the palate like you are in the clouds. 75% from 2019 and 25% perpetual reserve. 5g/L dosage.
WS93 Firm and minerally up front, with well-honed acidity and notes of smoke, chalk and oyster shell transitioning as they’re integrated with a creamy range of crunchy pear, ripe green apple, pink grapefruit pith and almond skin flavors, which expand through the midpalate and lightly spiced finish. Elegant, but with good complexity and focus throughout. Disgorged May 2023.
Estate Notes: Lean and mineral, like liquid rocks with a tiny touch of sea salt that always opens our appetite for seafood. 100% Chardonnay. Based on the 2020 vintage wine. Disgorged in October of 2023
