Calling all Pinot lovers! This wine set is perfectly curated for you with 3 Pinot Noirs.
2018 Merry Edwards ‘Coopersmith’ Pinot Noir Russian River Valley
VIN94 The 2018 Pinot Noir Coopersmith is a dense, powerful wine. Black cherry, lavender, spice, menthol, licorice and graphite infuse the 2018 with tremendous richness and pure density. Time in the glass brings out the wine’s natural resonance and virile intensity.
2022 Walter Hansel ‘South Slope’ Pinot Noir Russian River Valley
JD94 The 2022 Pinot Noir The South Slope Vineyard is made entirely from the Dijon clone 777 and pours a deep magenta hue. In the glass, it gives off a more floral perfume, with notes of violets, black raspberry coulis, sweet cedar, and mossy forest floor, and brighter fresh red fruit comes through on the palate. Medium-bodied, it reveals more focus on the palate, with a mouthwatering feel, and it has fine tannins and a light, salty finish. A very lovely wine, it’s going to reach its tenth birthday with ease if stored properly. 405 cases were produced.
2021 Tyler ‘Estate’ Pinot Noir St. Rita Hills
WA95 The 2021 Pinot Noir Estate comes from the Mae Estate and the Fiddlestix Vineyard, which Tyler proprietor Justin Tyler Willett recently purchased. It has alluring scents of raspberry, cranberry, orange peel, tea leaves and gravel dust with undertones of mushroom and earth. The medium-bodied palate is chalky and vibrant, its red berry fruit accented by striking floral character. It has a long, latent finish and will benefit from 2-3+ years in bottle.
