Walter Hansel ‘Cuvee Alyce’ Russian River Valley Chardonnay

VIN93 The 2022 Chardonnay Cuvée Alyce is a blend of Hyde, Hudson and 95 clones. It is also the richest and deepest of these Chardonnays from Hansel. Burnt sugar, lemon confit, marzipan, tangerine oil and vanillin are nicely pushed forward. This is an especially understated vintage of the Alyce.

Saxon Brown Durell Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

True to its pedigree, our 2019 Durell Vineyard Hayfield Block Pinot Noir displays both the depth of flavor and elegant structure this celebrated vineyard is known for. The wine’s dark berry and plum core gains richness on the mid palate, broadening to take on notes of brown spice and sweet vannilin oak, all framed by fine grained tannins that add grip and complexity throughout the lengthy finish. 18 months in 50% New French Oak. 75 cases produced.

Croix ‘1904 Estate’ Russian River Valley Zinfandel

This sexy, ripe and jammy Zinfandel opens with lively aromatics of boysenberry, blueberry, black cherry, and lavender catch curiosity immediately. The wine’s hue sheets the glass with jet black ink, indicative of Alicante Bouchet’s influence on the concentration of color. The mouthfeel is a viscous, luscious harmony of star anise, black plum, blackberries, and savory sweet bliss. Aged in 50% new American oak, for 16 months.
