2022 Olivier Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet

JS94 It shows a rather quiet, restrained fruit character as well as great harmony and seamlessness. Fermented in 20% new oak, alive with good acidity and highlighted by light toast, almond and mineral accents that add complexity. Medium- to full-bodied and quite well structured.
BH90-92 Cool, pretty and airy aromas include those of Granny Smith apple, acacia blossom and smoky white orchard fruit, especially white peach. There is fine volume to the delicious middleweight flavors that also coat the palate with sappy dry extract that buffers the moderately firm acid spine shaping the sneaky long, well-balanced and beautifully complex finale. This is an excellent Puligny villages.
